Responsible for the network security administration/design/support/implementation/troubleshooting and reporting of inter/intra/extranet related areas involving firewalls, VPN, intrusion detection, and authentication systems. Candidate selected will provide project implementation and level 3 support of border network infrastructure and systems. Will conduct daily interfaces with network technicians/project managers/ divisional end-users, and vendors. This position will require experience in TCP/IP and port assignments, strong working knowledge of Windows, UNIX/Linux, and firewall administration. Must have extensive knowledge in network topologies, protocols, and security. Additional duties include installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and managing predominantly Cisco infrastructure, Netscreen firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, as well as installation, utilization, and analysis of network management applications.
This position will require rotational on-call 24/7 duties, some nights and weekends necessary.

Requirements include a Technical certificate ( a Master's designation) from Cisco or comparable (i.e. CCNP/CCDP, CISSP, CISA, or equivalent) plus, three years of relevant working experience with hands-on application security, auditing, or IT security expertise; or, Bachelor's Degree and 4-years relevant work experience. Must be skilled with implementation and operational support for network security on a public/private infrastructure in a heterogeneous network environment. Must present excellent verbal, written and English communication skills. Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience or certifications will be considered.
