We are currently seeking a Network Support Engineer for our Irving, TX location.

 

 

Job Description:

The Network Support Engineer will design, implement and support inter-company external connections. The individual in this role will then report directly to the Manager of Digital Services for completion of new account setup and existing datacenter maintenance. Other duties and responsibilities include: Documenting and maintaining operational processesMaintaining network integrity and related databasesWorking with other sites to leverage standards, knowledge and lessons learned to ensure global cooperation

 

 

Qualifications:

The Network Support Engineer must have the ability to manage competing demands inherent in complicated problems or issues.  It is imperative that this individual have the ability to draw information from technical resources and apply these towards solving networking issues.  Other qualifications include:Must be self motivated to set customer expectations and meet deadlinesExcellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence peers and suppliersMust be able to express ideas and solutions in a clear, concise and organized manner Must demonstrate the capability to work independently and report progress and findings.

 

 

Requirements:Requires 24/7 on-call rotationMinimum of 3 years experience in an enterprise environmentExperience with IP Networking, Netscreen firewall, Ipsec VPN, remote connectivity technologies requiredExperience with implementing inter-company secure network communications and application accessStrong knowledge of Windows and Linux services, Window workstations and soho environmentsThorough knowledge of network technology and implementation methods with the ability to develop and document processes.
