Network Support Technician

 

An established organization serving Michigan since 1990, seeks highly motivated candidate to fill position at their Lansing office. 

 

Qualified candidates will be responsible for:Day to day operation and support of the organization's computer network, including local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN)Setting up and configuring hardware and software to the specifications identified by the IT ManagerProviding first level help desk support to the employees and customers of the organization

 

Requirements:Knowledge of Microsoft networking, hardware, and software set-up and configurationStrong communication skills and technical writing skills commensurate with the ability to prepare and update documentation are requiredAbility to work in a team environment and with outside vendors is importantBachelor degree with 1 to 3 years combined experience in a help desk and network administration position or an Associates degree with 3 to 5 years of commensurate experience required
