Network System Manager

Qualifications:

Candidate should have at least three years of corporate IT department experience with an emphasis on network support and troubleshooting. MS Server, Exchange, and Active Directory administration and configuration experience is preferred.  Familiarity with other current Microsoft based technologies is a plus.  Certifications are helpful, but actual support experience and good problem solving skills are far more important.  We are especially interested in anyone that has had direct contact with end users and provided technical help to end users within a corporate environment, preferably through a  ticket based support system.

Other areas of experience that are helpful include: 
 * SQL database technology including the ability to write complex queries. 
 * Microsoft SQL and MySQL 
 * Crystal Reports 
 * PHP and Visual Basic Programming 
 * Website development, html css rss 
 * Cisco PIX firewalls and other similar brands / models

Responsibilities:

Provide remote support services via the Internet and voice contact to small to medium sized companies in the San Diego area.  Most support will be made from our office location in UCSD area.  Some support may also be provided directly at client office locations in San Diego county.

Support and troubleshoot a wide range of technologies.  Specific technologies include, but are not limited to, Windows 2000/2003 based networks. Work to diagnose and resolve both emergency and chronic problems related to availability, security, performance, connectivity, and overall functionality.

Support and manage Microsoft Outlook with back-end Exchange server, Microsoft Office suite, phone communications, and high-speed Internet connections.

Support and manage Windows 2000/2003 Server, Active Directory, Exchange 2003

Support and Configure Windows 2000/2003 and Windows XP workstation environments. Setup and troubleshoot various information services and applications.

Support corporate anti-virus systems, such as Symantec's Corporate Edition.  Detect and remove Spyware, including occasionally complex Spyware removal scenarios.

Configure TCP/IP and basic troubleshooting of routing systems.
