JOB DESCRIPTION
TITLE: OFSA (Oracle Financial Services) Configurator
Alliance Consulting has an opening for a seasoned OFSA Configurator/Analyst with a minimum of one full-cycle OFSA implementation in high-volume banking MIS environments.  Should have experience working with business leaders to evaluate, define, and configure MIS calculation solutions on the OFSA platform, and will work closely with client management to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes.  Must be able to research and evaluate alternative solutions and make recommendations, and the leader must be capable of leading large teams cross-discipline planning and OFSA implementation.

 

Function is focused to the development and maintenance of financial calculations used in profitability reporting systems.  Calculations include Funds Transfer Pricing, deposit reserve, Economic Capital, and other balance sheet allocations.  Knowledge of and experience in developing management reporting applications are required.  The core responsibilities of this position include: developing a keen understanding of the unique business calculation needs, securing a strong understanding of the processes in the business workflow that drive calculations, defining business and functional requirements, partnering with business team to help design the OFSA calculation engine, partnering with business stakeholders to define user acceptance criteria, performing and coordinating user acceptance testing.

 

Experience should include:Demonstrated business analysis skills in the financial accounting sector Expert understanding of accounting, finance and financial MIS reporting Experience with OFSA Knowledge of database concepts (e.g. SQL statements) Understanding of workflow analysis and documentation Strong communication, and presentation skills Strong teamwork and client management skills Strong MS Office abilities (including Excel and Access)
