Responsible for the analysis, acquisition, installation, modification and support of operating systems, databases, and utilities. Conducts systems programming and systems support activities such as new or revised program language codes, processing routines, report generators, etc. Monitors effective language codes, processing routines, hardware utilization and utilization of database management techniques. Modifies, maintains and updates software such as compilers, link editors, assemblers, OEM utilities, JCL, macros and subroutines. Develops and reviews operator and control instructions. Prepares and conducts system and programming tests requiring interfacing of hardware and software. Conducts programming tasks including program design, program coding, debugging and documentation. As directed, prepares feasibility studies and designs tests to determine operating characteristics of software.Minimum Requirements

6+ years experience in systems programming, must posses minimum 3 years CNC experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne software version Xe in an IBM iSeries database environment. Prefer minimum 3 years experience in ERP support in the distribution industry. Demonstrated experience with Citrix Metaframe Presentation Server, and JDE batch scheduling software packages. Computer literacy in Windows desktop and server environments is required, including but not limited to current operating systems. Possess a working knowledge of Windows network operating systems and typically, a general knowledge of iSeries OS400 operating systems.

Must be a motivated, self-directed individual with the ability to work well with minimal supervision and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate an ability to work effectively under pressure in often critical situations. Be well organized, possessing excellent documentation skills. Be persuasive and influential to create acceptable agreements or solutions. Through informal and formal education, maintain currency in technical skills and remain abreast of emerging technologies that provide benefit to the business. The employee must possess excellent customer service skills including direct interaction with users, assertiveness and persistence to address issues to closure. Experience with supporting business processing associated with an Enterprise Resource Planning application in a global environment. Experience in supporting applications delivered via Citrix technology and/or client/server methodologies.Additional Knowledge & Skills

Assist in security administration functions that include account provisioning, role definition, and task/menu assignment for ERP users.
Coordinates and deploys periodic application package updates to JD Edwards EnterpriseOne application.
Works closely with database administrators and application development staff to ensure correct application functionality and optimal performance of the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne systems.
Installs/upgrades components and functions for Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Xe.
Builds and coordinates deployment of project package promotions to Citrix application servers, related batch and application servers, and supporting systems.
Applies applicable service packs and application upgrades.
Configures and schedules batch queues.
Creates and manages environments, path codes and OCM.
Configure OMW and OMW related application administration.
Provides complete and timely support for end users by responding to and resolving user requests via help desk incident management systems.
Remains abreast of current application architecture, ESU and service pack releases, functionality, and other CNC components.
