Online Audience Development Manager/Content Developer
Come play a critical role in the growth of the Prism Business Media New Media team. The New Media Division oversees the sales, product development and technology of our 130+ Web sites, 180+ e-mail newsletters, 60 buyers guides serving over 3 million users in 20 market sectors.
We are seeking an Online Audience Development Manager in our Overland Park, Kansas location. This position will be responsible for improving the size and quality of our sites? online audiences through Web site promotion and proper content management (search engine optimization, tagging, layout, etc.) The Online Audience Development manager will be tasked with analyzing the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and making recommendations to improve performance through content management, Web site promotion/marketing, and search engine optimization. Local candidates are preferred as relocation assistance will not be available.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
? Update Web sites, utilizing our content management system (CMS)
? Build traffic through use of Search Engine Optimization (training to be provided, experience is a plus)
? Market our franchises via Web site promotion
? Perform campaign analysis on client ad campaigns
? Work with editors to develop winning tactics to improve how we service our markets and communities
? Analyze Web statistics to find trends and opportunities within our markets.
Experience
? 2 years work experience in online product marketing.
? The minimum education is a 4-year bachelor?s degree, with background in marketing, HTML, CSS, Excel.
? Must be fluent in MS Office applications.
? Knowledge of Dreamweaver and/or Photoshop is a big plus.
