Position Summary
The Operations Business Analyst is responsible for supporting and / or leading moderately complex business and / or technical projects across multiple departments.

Key Job Duties:

Understands the relationship between the business and the data and technology that support the business

Has an understanding of and an ability to apply knowledge of basic technical business systems

Participates and / or leads data gathering sessions via interviews / observations

Documents current state

Conducts analysis independently or as part of a team

Documents future state requirements / recommendations

Creates final presentations

Presents findings to all levels within the organization

Develops relationships with business partners by demonstrating an in depth knowledge of processes and systems capabilities, being proactive, providing innovative solutions, and modeling our service behaviors

Acts as Project Manager on moderately complex projects from requirement development through design, and implementation

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

2-5 years experience in project management or process improvement position

Strong business/data analysis, facilitation, and writing skills

Creative thinker with a high degree of innovation, self-motivation, and sound judgment

Ability to work with cross-functional teams and relate well to all levels within the organization

Ability to handle multiple tasks and tight deadlines

Ability to drive change to existing business processes

Flexibility required to work independently, lead projects, and / or perform supporting role on projects, as needed

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and Visio
