Operations Consultant - Tampa, FL

Job Description:
Ajilon is seeking an operations manager level consultant. This consultant will be responsible for inbound and outbound file monitoring and processing for all B2B and B2C clients in the Financial Services e-Commerce, known as Supplier Payer Payment Channels. This role is a unique opportunity for the right individual to work loosely with our technology organization to turn a currently very manual and labor intensive daily operations process into a more robust, automated, and risk adverse operating environment.

Candidate should have:

1) Operational understanding of the Unix OS and commands.
2) Operational understand of file processing.
3) Experience using / programming automated batch processing software (e.g. Control-M).
4) Has exposure to Java Programming, J2EE, and Object Oriented Design. Has coding experience.
5) Has experience working with databases, such as DB2 or Oracle, and JDBC.
6) Has experience working in an Application Server based environment (such as WebSphere, Weblogic, or JBoss)
7) Has intermediate level understanding of web based applications.
8) Has a beginner to intermediate understanding of design patterns
9) Experience in developing medium sized transactional systems
10) Exposure to Structured / Disciplined Software development
11) Must possess a 'problem solver' mentality
12) Must be fast technical learner
13) Dedication level to work in a processing facility
14) Professional, easy-going, and non-argumentative personality.

Job Experience:
Responsible for the design, development, coding,
testing, debugging and documentation of
applications to satisfy the requirements of one
or more user areas. May include hands-on new
development as well as support, maintenance or
enhancement of existing applications. Works
closely with client management to identify and
specify complex business requirements and
processes. Researches and evaluates alternative
solutions and makes recommendations.
