Operations Plans Lead - (L-3 GSIBS23544)

Position: Current Operations Lead Duties: Responsible for the day to day oversight and management of a distributed operations section charged with the task of providing on-site support to soldier's world wide. The position requires a proven manager, with a keen ability to work with multiple regional managers to meet competing support demands. The incumbent in this position serves as the primary advisor to the Government lead for operations and has primary responsibility to synchronize the efforts of regional support sites to ensure Army customers are provided support.

Responsibilities:
The incumbent of this position assists with coordinating the day-to-day operational activities related to scheduling and monitoring the support provided to units in both training and combat environments. The selected individual will be responsible for developing processes and procedures to maintain up to date status of all on going support efforts and future support requirements. Position requires extensive experience in balancing competing demands with a limited set of resources. The operations lead will establish and conduct recurring calendar synchronization meetings/teleconferences with regional managers, update the program master calendar and provide briefings as required.

Education/Experience:

Typically requires former U.S. Army Field Grade officer experience with extensive staff experience at the division level or higher in planning and implementing operations. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products Word, PowerPoint, Excel, & Outlook. Bachelor's degree required, Masters degree desirable. Graduate of the US Army Command and General Staff College or equivalent. Experience as a staff officer at Division level or above required, G-3 operations, or Support Operations, experience desired. Must possess verbal, written, management, and leadership skills to effectively accomplish the duties and missions. Security Clearance Required.
