Oracle 10g DBA/Developer
Job Description : In support of an IT contract with NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia, an Oracle DBA/Developer is sought to perform hands-on Oracle DBA activities and database design/development. Other key responsibilities include troubleshooting, problem solving, and process improvement.
Required Skills :
B.S. in Computer Science or related technical degree and a minimum of 4-6 years hands-on Oracle 10g DBA and database design/development experience that includes monitoring and configuring databases, archiving and restoring databases, database security, installation of database software and tools, and troubleshooting/problem resolution. Must have MySQL experience. Must be able to work well in an integrated team environment.
Desired Skills :
Experience working with NASA preferred. Experience in Cold Fusion administration, Sybase, Oracle Application Server, IIS, Apache Server, LDAP, or SQL Plus. Experience with Unix, Linux and NT servers.
