Oracle 9.1 DBA Project Management duties Oakbrook Illinois
Oracle DBA for logical physical data base development; tuning and maintainenance of business intelligence databases which will allow the corporation to manage the supply chain more efficiently. This includes: assisting with enhancements to the data warehouse for ongoing releases; assisting with the application development and database design of deliverables; providing ongoing support to the Marketplace Analytics team; providing back-up support for all web application databases; support for the application development group; designing, maintaining and tuning tables in the data warehouse.
To qualify you must have at least 3 years of database administration experience with Oracle (9.1), SQL, Unix (shell scripting) and Stored Procedures. You will fully utilize your project management, problem solving, analytical, multi-tasking, time/priority management and team participation skills
You have to have a Bachelor's degree in a related field required; a Master's degree is preferred. It would be great if you also have experience with Manugistics, Oracle Applications, Informatica, DB2, and Siebel.
