We are seeking an IT professional that has over 6 years of IT experience working with relational databases supporting software applications. This position requires on hand experience with applications technical documentation, development and support, and an in-depth knowledge of the SDLC methodology. You should also be proficient in working with relational databases such as Oracle 9i/10g.

 

You will:Participate in the application installation and configuration,Responsible for creating the technical documentation (Users requirements, Functional requirements, System design specifications?etc),Develop and maintain other project documentation such as validation documentation,Production Support (post migration), which may require carrying a pager.

 

 

Required SkillsIn depth experience with client server applications and architecturesIn depth knowledge of the SDLC MethodologyVery strong experience with technical documentation creation (User requirements, Functional specifications...etc)Excellent Written and Verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with IT management and business usersExperience with Quality SystemsStrong Analytical, problem solving abilities and troubleshooting skillsGood knowledge of database development using SQLExperience with Oracle 9i or 10g Proficiency with the Windows NT Server and UNIX (Sun Solaris) operating systemsStrong experience in applications support

 

Desired SkillsExperience working in a validated environment (i.e. CFR Part 11)Experience in supporting a Learning Management System  (such as Plateau)Bachelor?s Degree (Computer Science preferred)
