Oracle Applications Lead

Landry?s Restaurants, Inc. has a newly created position for an Oracle Applications Specialist ? Summary:  This position will be responsible for supporting the Oracle HRMS applications.  During the Oracle implementation project, work with business users and third party consultants to configure and implement Oracle HRMS application.  After implementation, will be the main liaison to business users regarding Oracle HRMS operations and future enhancements.

 

Requirements:

? Ability to interface between non-technical users and technical personnel.

? Knowledgeable and experienced in underlying Oracle HRMS applications database architecture as well as Oracle database and development tools including PL/SQL, SQL Plus, Forms, Reports, UNIX shell scripting.

? Knowledge of workflow administration, processes and maintenance.

? Proven ability to create functional specifications and/or technical design documents.

? Ability to understand and translate all business and user requirements.

 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities: 

? Operates as a Human Resources Functional expert for Oracle HRMS application.

? Participate in the rollout of the 11i Oracle HRMS Application modules.

? Analyze Human Resource business processes and develop specifications to implement Oracle HRMS applications.

? Provide business requirements for interfaces, conversions and reports.

? Perform functional configuration, implementation, and production support activities for Oracle 11i.

? Support end users of the Oracle 11i Applications.

? Participate in development of user procedures and training materials.

? Conduct end user training.

? Document functional and technical procedures.

? Troubleshoot Oracle systems problems as they arise and work with the Human Resources department to solve integration issues. 

 

Education:  College degree is required.
