MSD is an employee-owned company of over 600 professionals who support the diverse technical, scientific, and administrative needs of the Federal government. We are currently searching for an Oracle DBA/Developer to support one of our clients. This opportunity is permanent, full-time, and on site in Fairfax, VA.

Our ideal candidate?will need the ability to monitor, maintain, repair, and update an Oracle database used in a Web application. Must develop scripts to exchange data with other databases and procedures to add application functionality.
Oracle 8i or 9i required. SQL*Plus and PL/SQL required. Crystal Reports experience preferred. Solaris, Java, Web logic, and UNIX experience preferred. Oracle DBA preferred. Maintain databases on Production, Test, and Integration systems. Troubleshoot and repair database and application problems in concert with Java programmers. Interact with clients on database issues, including data import and additional application functionality.

Candidate must be a US citizen, clearable, and must be willing to get a clearance requiring a polygraph. Candidate with a current clearance preferred.
