Oracle Database Mgmt Specialist (7632)

Signal Solutions Inc., a General Dynamics company, has openings for a Oracle Database Management Specialist at Camp Walker, Taegu, Korea. The candidate selected for this position will support the U.S. Army Korea?s Theater Network Operations and Security Center (KTNOSC) and ensure the integration and effectiveness of the KTNOSC and Theater databases. The contractor shall develop, implement, operate, maintain, troubleshoot, upgrade, tune, test, and administer Relational and Object-oriented Database Management Systems (DBMS) and associated services. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Accordingly, U.S. Citizenship is required. General Dynamics Network Systems is an EEO/Affirmative Action Employer.  Bachelor?s/Associate?s degree in Computer Science/Information Systems related field or Technical School highly preferred. Six years of technical experience in administration, analysis, and programming of computerized databases. Competent to work at a high level for all phases of database management. Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) with experience administering Oracle 9i or later releases required. Strong understanding of the ability to configure and integrate MS systems with information networks, web sites, and associated databases. This skill is qualified to operate in advanced environments of Oracle, MySQL, and MS SQL. Integration requires knowledge of LDAP, Authentication, Single Sign On, and web services.
