 Experience in designing, implementing and adminstering 9i/10g Oracle databasesExperience in designing, implementing, and administering enterprise level Microsoft SQL Server 2000 databases.Experience in enterprise database application development using Microsoft Visual Studio 2000 (Version 6.0).Experience with TOAD, InstallShield Pro, and/or the Rational Enterprise SuiteExperience in data modeling and/or data analysis. Experience developing applications with object-oriented analysis and design.Must have current Top Secret Clearance

 



The current environment includes a classified enterprise application system installed at a customer site at Fort Bragg, Fayetteville NC.  The primary user interfaces for these applications are Microsoft user interfaces for the web (portal) and for Windows-XP clients.  The operating system platform consists of enterprise servers hosting Windows Server 2003 with networked user workstations hosting Windows-XP Professional.  The team consists of developers from different areas of expertise. The selected software engineer will serve as on-site customer support specialist and application developer for the development and sustainment of the existing enterprise application, develop and support a stable application evolving with modules to meet specific user requirements with user access through various secure networked devices, and develop and support well over 70 canned reports that change continuously to meet evolving requirements.  Additional duties will include developing core components specified by customer requirements, designing, developing, and administrating database structures and processes, providing daily customer technical support, daily administration of the supported application, and reviewing, analyzing, and documenting customer change request and problem reports. The support also requires some limited duty at DSA?s Fairfax, VA location.  Additionally, the selected software engineer must meet the government screening process for work: capable of gaining approval for Special Access Programs (SAP), psychological interview, financial background, security background, and section interview.
