Oracle Financial Support Specialist

OFA Support Specialist 


REQUIRED
BA/BS, preferably in a technology, accounting or business discipline.
Five plus years of professional and relevant experience ideally in OFA and financial services industry.
OFA experience is a huge plus.
Strong working knowledge of Excel. - Knowledge of Essbase is a plus.
OFSA experience is helpful but not required
Ability to write SQL query statements to find data.
Understanding of Financial concepts and vocabulary is preferred.
Experience with budgeting, forecasting and management accounting concepts.

Performance:
Ability to navigate in technical applications.
Requires strong attention to detail.
Can follow detailed procedures but also able to see the big picture behind them.
Ability to work under pressure at times to meet business deadlines.

Documentation:
Willing to document when needed.
Able to document clear, complete, step-by-step procedures.

Communication:
Required to communicate (email/phone/in person) often in a clear, understandable way to end-users and mgt.
Requires patience and understanding to respond to end-user questions and requests.
Affable personality helpful to work with many people with varied skill sets from end-user to technical to hi-level management.

Trouble-Shooting, Analysis, & User Support:
Willing to request help when unsure on tasks but able to retain knowledge for repetitive application of tasks.
Able to make reasonable judgments when documentation is not available.
Willing to acknowledge errors to help in correcting them.
Able to keep track of and explain steps performed in case trouble-shooting analysis is needed.
Strong analytical skills when documented procedures do not apply.
Willing and able to maintain focus on issue until resolved.
