The ideal Fixed Asset Candidate will have expertise in the following required areas:

 Oracle Fixed Assets and the applications which interact with it.  The consultant must have demonstrated abilities to deliver quality results in tight timelines with minimal supervision.

 Assists with data conversion activities during final User Acceptance Test and Go Live

  Trouble shooting on UAT test errors; recommends solutions, performs corrective cycle retest.

  Meets all SOX and Audit requirements for test documentation and production fixes.

 Must be able to assess the operational and technical impact of system changes

 Must be familiar with complex asset configuration, depreciation methods and a variety of tax years.

 Demonstrated ability to articulate complex solutions to business users and partners

 Provide end user support onsite and on-line during production go-live through first period close.

 

 

Primary Support Areas:

  End user support

 Troubleshooting FA problems identified in final UAT and production go-live.

  Direct technical developers in problem resolution.

 Create specifications for new user requirements, perform testing and validation of solutions design. 

 Documentation of processes, procedures, SOX, and period close.

 

Contract - Minimum 8 weeks

 

Preferred Technical Skills:

  PL/SQL skills.Demonstrated knowledge and experience with production support of fixed asset users new to Oracle.Demonstrated knowledge of Oracle TAR and Bug resolution, testing, patch validation process.Financial background in asset intensive environment.Excel, Business Objects, Monarch and other business support tools.
