Ingersoll Rand Climate Control Technologies Sector is seeking an experienced Oracle Functional Implementation Specialist for our Minneapolis, MN location.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Come join us to be a part of a highly-motivated team dedicated to implementing Oracle 11i Application throughout Ingersoll-Rand $3 billion Climate Control Sector. The charter of our Oracle 11i implementation includes improving and standardizing the business processes throughout each of our 20 worldwide manufacturing plants. A qualified candidate must have practical experience with one of three functional areas: Supply Chain Planning, Product Configuration and/or Flow/Discrete/Project Manufacturing. Global Order to Promise (GOP), Forecasting, Capacity Planning, MRP, and/or Kanban, knowledge is a plus. A candidate must be able to demonstrate both business acumen and Oracle 11i software implementation experience. Be able to teach others, accustomed to working within a formal project management methodology, and familiar with Oracle support processes, including Tar and Patch management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As part of the team you will also be developing and testing End User procedures for the new processes. Documenting the procedures and validating them with the user community. Assist in the development of training materials for the End Users. Identify and document potential issues with the process and systems. Assist in Issue Resolution.

Assist in the configuration, setup and testing of Oracle and related tools to meet the business process. Work with the Information Technology Applications Development group to establish new system requirements, testing and user acceptance. Develop training materials for internal Climate Control in the use of the Oracle system.

Assist in the implementation of the new processes across our global enterprise. Assist in the preparatory steps prior to go live such as data conversion, testing, and configuration. Communicate with the plant/operation, schedule training sessions, conduct training, and provide support after go-live where necessary. Continue to evaluate process and tools for improvements and adjust the processes where necessary.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Five plus years of business experience in the manufacturing industry.

Specific experience in one of three functional business areas: Supply Chain Planning, Product Configuration or Flow/Discrete Manufacturing.

Must have three plus years experience working with Oracle 11i Application suite and how it is used to enable the above business functions.

The individual must have knowledge of project management methodology and planning.

Must be able to teach others.

Must be able to resolve business process gaps using standard software functionality.

Expert PC skills including Word, Power Point, Excel and Lotus Notes, and a willingness to learn new software as needed.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

International Travel required up to 50%.
