Title: Oracle Server Developer

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Server PL/SQL Developer with the ability to build applications supporting large numbers of concurrent users using extensive Oracle PL/SQL packages/procedures.

In this role, you will work in concert with other development team members to test and deploy support code in Oracle database, and Oracle compatible Enterprise DB.
 

Responsibilities:
* System analysis, design and development of back-end PL/SQL applications
* Strong Oracle PL/SQL programming and SQL tuning skills
* Good coding practices using PL/SQL
* Help maintain the development and release lifecycle
* Help document functional and technical specifications for the application
* Co-ordinate with the Operations team to setup and release applications
* Responsible for trouble shooting the performance issues on the application backend in a 7X24 environment.

Skills:
* Minimum 2 solid years programming using PL/SQL in Oracle 9i, experience with 10g a plus.
* A big plus is that he/she have PL/SQL experience on large Oracle 10g Linux systems or equivalent Unix systems
* Strong knowledge of advanced Oracle PL/SQL features
* Demonstrated proficiency of troubleshooting techniques and detail-oriented problem diagnosis at different levels
* Experience with online gaming industry a plus, likes to play games a plus.
* Ability to write specification and deployment documents for new releases
* Strong knowledge of source control 
* Oracle certification is an advantage but not necessary
* Knowledge of Unix/Linux OS, PL/SQL Developer, Perl,and Cognos a plus,
* Working knowlege of Oracle Database Tuning concepts
