Oracle Web Development Tech Consultant - Must Be U.S. Citizen

One of our clients, a highly specialized information technology solutions delivery firm that utilizes appropriate leading-edge tools and techniques to serve the public and private sectors. has an immediate need for an Oracle Web Developer to work out of their Chantilly, VA campus on a 6 month contracting assignment.

 

There is a strong possibility that the incumbent will have the option of extending their contract or rolling to permanant employee status following the initial contract duration.

Oracle Web Development Technical Consultant

 

 

Job Description
Work in a fast-paced environment for a dynamic organization
Primarily responsible for developing web-based applications using object oriented technology and Oracle RDBMS
Assist in SDLC activities, including requirements design, development and implementation
Build program units that meet all functional and technical requirements
Create test plans based on business functional and technical requirements; execute these plans.
Some customer interface with customer in Washington, DC may be required

Required Skills
4-5 years overall programming experience
2+ years object oriented analysis and design experience
2+ years RDBMS experience
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Strong ability to creatively solve problems
Strong conceptual thinking skills; ability to design and code with enterprise needs in mind
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Ability to work in changing environment

Because of the need to obtain a security clearance US Citizenship is required.
