P-RHT-CS-Business Analyst
The Senior Analyst for the Products team manages strategic product analysis & planning from conception to completion, including ongoing product reporting requirements, new reporting development, and reporting & data maintenance. The role includes responsibilities to research, develop and implement new product or service-related reports regarding existing functions and services, organize and direct appropriate distribution of information across the organization, and spear-heading organizational discussions for effective planning and prioritization of initiatives. Essential Functions: Manage overall planning & development process for product analysis. Work with executives, managers and business areas,to evaluate, scope and implement initiatives appropriate reporting and meet reporting objectives; Ensure management communication related to reporting & analysis discovery Effectively understand data resources and sources, including databases, listings or web-systems to develop effective reports, but also assist in overall management data integrity Sustain related systems knowledge (such as SAS, SQL programming, etc) Product Analysis, Forecasting, Reporting providing analytical support on marketing, risk management, and product development strategies to ensure company goals are met; segmenting, monitoring, and analyzing various deposit and credit product trends and making recommendations to management based on trends; producing performance monitoring and benchmarks regarding deposits growth, loan delinquencies, losses and overall profitability and performance of various bank products; Senior Management, including Bank Financial Corp Board Reporting supports the production of monthly board reports, quarterly, and annual performance reports for senior management. Product Data Sources, Resources & Integrity understand and manage issues surrounding data integrity for any data sources, affiliate reporting information work with developers and related managers or analysts to resolve data issues and improve resources Affiliate Compensation Analysis, Forecasting, Report Development develop & provide accrual forecasts for affiliate compensation provide support, research and analysis related to major affiliate programs, including data integrity, customer data matching to meet payment obligations etc. Credit & Risk Management Reporting developing and maintaining statistically-based credit loss forecasting models for personal loan products including credit cards, overdraft lines, HELOCs, other asset-based loans. performing analysis and/or modeling that maximizes profits and/or asset growth and minimizes credit and/or operating losses and other risk exposures. Minimum Qualifications: (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities): Leadership - The ability to interact on a positive, productive and encouraging basis with other members the organization. Strategic understanding. Ability to understand and extrapolate the strategic value, trends and information derived from the data, reports, etc. Communication. Both written and verbal with internal/external parties. Ability to engage ad hoc cross-functional teams to drive projects forward Attention to Detail - for data integrity, data interpretation, etc.
Qualifications :
Training and Experience: Undergraduate degree in Economics, Finance or other quantitative field, advanced degree preferred, or equivalent experience. Experience with SQL, SAS, or related analytical software. Strong data mining and analysis skills with proven ability to work with diverse and large data sets for analysis and modeling within a financial services environment.
