PACS Administrator (NEW - Oregon)

Healthcare facility located in southerly Oregon seeks your PACS expertise. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations support for the organizational Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS). Additionally, you will act as liaison in digital imaging initiatives within the Department of Medical Imaging and other departments creating strong relationships with users (at all levels) and supporting their needs.  Moreover, you will handle the management of image flow, archiving, auto-routing and pre-fetching and other related activities.  This role requires a clinical background as Technologist OR at least 2 years working closely with Radiology in Radiology Systems support role. Also, one or more years of PACS experience.  Degree preferred. .Compensation range is 65-78k and depends on experience, plus potential for relocation and/or sign on bonus.

 

 

PACS Administrator, INTERNATIONAL (Dublin, Ireland)

Ground-floor opportunity at a brand new, private hospital in Dublin, Ireland.  Working under the direction of the CIO, you will be accountable for all aspects of the Radiology PACS (GE Centricity), including project oversight for the implementation, and day-to-day user support and training on the system.  Will also be responsible for the PACS system administration within the Information Services infrastructure and standards.  This is a high visibility position where you will exercise sound judgment in the planning and management of this hospital-wide implementation.  Position requires a Bachelors (4-year) degree (necessary to obtain work authorization); minimum of 3 years of combined IT and/or Radiology experience; and experience completing at least one full cycle PACS implementation project.Knowledge or experience with GE Centricity PACS & RIS, as well as MEDITECH is preferred.  Experience as a Radiologic Technologist or in Radiology department operations is a definite plus.Pay up to 60k Euros (approximate equivalence of $75k USD).  This is a permanent position offering relocation and full benefits package including 20 days vacation.

 

RIS / PACS Analyst (Baltimore area)

Large Healthcare Organization, located in Maryland, seeks your RIS systems expertise.  Siemens RIS skills preferred.  In this role you will work as part of the Radiology Systems Team, acting as Liaison between the Clinical Staff in Radiology (supporting all levels of users) and the IT Department.  Role will have you ensure accurate and timely transmission of images and data to the appropriate destinations; participate in modifying, developing and improving the hardware and software for the RIS and PACS; manage the maintenance of department computer hardware; educate all hospital staff on radiology information system usage and PACS.  This role requires 1 or more years of  RIS systems experience.  Strong understanding of Radiology workflow is a must, previous experience as a Technologist is a plus.  Compensation range is from 72-82k, depending on experience level, plus potential for relocation and/or sign on bonus.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations support for the organizational Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).  Fuji PACS Consultant ? Administrator (Western US)
This is a 6 month engagement to lead the implementation of Fuji Synapse application at a large hospital system in the Western US. Duties would include managing tasks assigned to the site by the project manager including modality readiness, workflow/change control, polices and procedures along with coordination of training efforts provided by the PACS vendor. Will need to work closely with imaging staff to ensure prescribed workflow changes are adhered to. Also key liaison with Radiologist group to ensure understanding of workflow and application functionality is optimized. Post implementation will act as troubleshooter to triage and manage issues, workflow optimization and stabilization of the application. Skills should include previous PACS administration, knowledge of Fuji Synapse application and change management processes. Start date ? Immediate. Duration ? 6 months. Compensation is 55-75/hour, depending on level of experience, plus full coverage of all expenses.

 

 

PACS Administrator, Cosmos/Siemens (Atlanta, GA)

Radiology Applications Analyst, RIS Systems, RadNet  (Atlanta, GA)

In this role you will be the expert IT applications and workflow resource and consultant to the Radiology management teams and staff pertaining to RadNet.  Endeavor to optimize information systems and work processes to achievement of the goals of the department. Responsible for planning of Radiology related IT projects, developing project plans, and communicating issues with various Enterprise facilities and staff.  Provide applications support for the radiology information systems and software interfaces for related enterprise systems.  Maintain knowledge of Radiology work processes, information systems, applications, interfaces, databases, reports and enhancements to optimize the department?s successful operations.  Review interface error transactions logs on a routine basis.  Develop, prepare and revise policies and procedures for business processes as they relate to the use of the Radiology systems. Requires one or more years of experience in Radiology Systems support (RIS, prefer RadNet) in a clinical setting.  Compensation is 75-90k, depending on experience level, plus benefits and potential for relocation assistance.

 

Cardiology PACS  Administrator ? Analyst (Oregon)

Our client is offering a high-visibility Cardiology Systems (PACS) role with huge potential for growth/advancement.  As the key support person for Enterprise Radiology Systems you will handle all information systems within Enterprise Imaging Services. Collaboratively plans, coordinates and manages RIS, CIS, and PACS implementations, upgrades and maintenance.

This role requires a background in Radiology (preferably in interventional and/or cardiovascular imaging) and a minimum of two years experience with image and information management systems in a mission critical environment is required. Cardiology PACS experience is critical for this role. Experience and knowledge to critically review clinical images for diagnostic quality from various imaging modalities is a must. Pay is 68-80k, depending on level of experience, plus potential for relocation and/or sign on bonus.

 

PACS Administrator  (NYC) 

Status:  Hired one person so far, still seeking a second person to add to the team.

Large Healthcare organization in NYC, with multiple campuses and satellites locations, seeks your PACS Systems experience. This organization is in the process of building an Enterprise PACS team.  Your role will have you working in a team of PACS/RIS professionals developing, analyzing, implementing, evaluating system designs, strategies, specifications  and models for Enterprise wide PACS needs (Radiology, Cardiology, Radiation Oncology). You will work with Departmental staff to support enterprise PACS and other clinical applications in above listed departments. Requires 1 or more years with PACS and/or RIS Systems Support/Administration.  Strong understanding of Radiology departmental processes and workflow is helpful.  Compensation to 75k  depending on experience, plus relocation coverage and/or sign on bonus.
