PC SUPPORT SPECIALIST I - Helpdesk

Do you enjoy helping others resolve technical problems and issues?  If you are a helpdesk application guru with Network+ or MCP certification, this might be your next career move!  This call-center position is a great entry-level opportunity into Dollar General's growing IS department.  You'll provide desktop support and technical expertise to resolve a wide-range of technical problems and escalated issues when necessary.  On occasion you may be called upon to maintain computer equipment for Dollar General corporate sites and remote users.  MCP or Network + certification required. A+ and/or MCDST certification preferred.


 

Minimum 18 months training in electronics, computer science or related work experience.Minimum 2-3 years experience with PCs, LANs and/or data communicationsMinimum 2-3 years experience with MS Windows2 years experience interfacing workstations to a LAN2 years experience supporting Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite applications1 year Helpdesk or call center experience a mustNetwork+ or MCP certification requiredA+ or MCDST certification preferred


Compensation will consist of a competitive salary based on your
