PC SUPPORT TECHNICIAN

Handi-Foil, an industry leader in the manufacture, sale, marketing and distribution of disposable aluminum bakeware has an immediate opening for a PC Support Technician at our facility in Wheeling, IL.  This privately held company has been in business for over twenty years and is experiencing strong growth year after year.

 

Position Overview:

 

This technical position will focus primarily on set up and maintenance of individual computers, peripherals and our Unix server.  Other responsibilities are:

 Resolving network problemsMaintaining our Unix serverRunning ad hoc reports as requiredSome programming in various systems

 

The requirements for this position are:

 

?  A four year college degree in Computer Science and one year of experience, a two-year degree and three years of experience or equivalent experience and/or education

?  At least one year of experience working with a Unix server

?  Flexibility to work on hardware, programming and developing ad hoc reports. 

?  Proven ability to develop and manage relationships with internal and external customers.
