At Arnold Transportation Services, a recognized leader in the transportation industry, we are focused on growth and improvement.? We currently have an opening for a PC Technician in our Grand Prairie Texas office.? It is imperative that this individual be a team player, and be able to multi-task and coordinate activities with the Network Analyst and PC Techs. This position requires someone who can take on new challenges without hesitation. The individual will be required to support after hour activities such as on call support, upgrades, and system restoration as needed. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience supporting Windows based computers in a medium to large corporate environment. We will not consider relocations for this position, local candidates only.

Job Responsibilities:Knowledge and experience of PC repair and troubleshooting, MCP and A+ certification or equivalent experience. In depth knowledge of Windows XP and Lotus Notes.Provide support and expertise on Microsoft Office. Microsoft Office Specialist certification is a plus. Work independently to setup or install new software and hardware as well as the connectivity of desktop workstations, printers and peripherals. Basic knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP, wireless networking, Windows servers and VPN technologies.Provide resolution and management of the Help Desk platform. Support monthly and daily backups of servers using client software.Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills including the ability to support remote users. Strong documentation abilities, oral / written communication skills, and superior customer service abilities to support a 65 person network. Publish pc related articles in the monthly company newsletter. Resolve issues with Nextel phones, copiers, fax machines, Audix Voice mail, PBX phones and printers. Must be able to handle contract renewals and manage vendor support on equipment. May be required to travel to other offices on occasion to provide support or system upgrades. Must be able to work independently, being able to complete assigned tasks and deadlines with minimal supervision. Highly motivated, fast learner that is willing.Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
