 PC Technicians

 

This position provides desk side installation, maintenance and troubleshooting support for all personal computers in use within the Farmers Catastrophe Core units.  The position does require travel (up to 50%) to anywhere within the 41 states, which Farmers provides insurance coverage, including a 24/7 on-call schedule rotation.  Additionally, the ability to deploy to various catastrophe locations with as little as 4 hours notification will be necessary.

 

A 4-year Bachelors degree is preferred; however, technical training and/or 2 years of prior job experience may be accepted.  A qualified candidate must have a strong technical background, be detailed-oriented and organized, as well as have experience in the operation and implementation of Microsoft Windows 9X and Windows NT Workstation and/or Windows 2000.  One year of TCP/IP desktop implementations is also required.  A+ Certification is preferred.
