PEOPLESOFT PROGRAMMER ANALYST

Choice Hotels International, the highly successful franchiser of Comfort Inn, MainStay Suites, EconoLodge and other popular hotel brands, seeks a PeopleSoft Financial Technical Analyst for our headquarters in Silver Springs, MD. This detail-oriented, experienced professional will research and develop solutions for business systems in support of finance customers and other groups.

In this vital role you will:

? Support, maintain, and enhance one or more of the PeopleSoft 8.0 financial modules in a production environment, including GL, A/P, A/R, Billing, AM, Budgets, PO and Projects
? Assist with monitoring product releases, impact analysis, implementing as directed
? Maintain and troubleshoot existing PeopleSoft modules and interfaces
? Analyze, design, code and test new feature/modules/reports
? Support batch processing, job scheduling and application server processing
? Other duties, including the support of upgrades, as needed

As our successful candidate, you will possess:

? Bachelors? degree
? 3+ years experience in a software development environment
? 2+ years experience providing technical support to PeopleSoft Financial modules in a production environment
? 1+ years experience with v.8.x (Financials 8.8 experience a plus)
? Technical experience with Workflow and other financial related functions
? 2+ years experience working with SQR, PeopleCode, PeopleTools and AppEngine
? Proficiency with applying updates and releases
? Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
? Preferred candidates will have knowledge of A/R Billing practices, UNIX and Oracle experience
