Support the overall development, use and modification of company Graphics and Book Production business applications. 
Follow Information Technology Services Work Order processes and Application Development Methodology to research customer issues and provide appropriate system solutions.

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST HAVES:

 


College degree in Computer Science or related field
Minimum 4 years technical work experience with software development life cycle & relational database concepts required; Oracle database experience preferred
Ability to work with limited supervision in a team environment
Effective oral & written communication skills along with strong analytical and problem solving skills
Experience writing ad-hoc scripts with SQL--Crystal Reports
Experience w/interrogation of data, manipulation of data
Understanding of the difference between inner and outer join
Experience with support of production applications a HUGE PLUS
Prefer experience with variety of operating systems and architectures (Windows, VMS, UNIX, etc.)
Preference given to candidates with experience/knowledge of Postscript coding, Graphics applications, press operations & PDF technology.

 

 

 



As SYSTEMS ANALYST, you will:



 


Analyze and document user requirements for system change
Adhere to Application Development Methodology of company
Write Functional Specifications with appropriate design options
Review and approve Technical Specs completed by internal or external programmers

?Assist the ITS Testing Team during testing phase of release

?Support rollout and implementation of application software

?Perform analysis and provide resolution to system issues with direct contact with end-users
Support technical project plan development and execution
Work with cross-functional teams to develop system enhancements

 

You will work with multiple departments thus, interaction and teaming with multiple people and organizations will include:
Internal and external customers/business partners including Business Analysts, Change Management Analysts and Client Service Representatives
External vendor representatives including technical consultants, product support and sales personnel

Base Salary-Range 50-65K + Excellent Benefits
