PLM BUSINESS ANALYST

The Gates Corporation of Rochester Hills, MI, world-renowned leader in power transmission systems is seeking a PLM Business Analyst.

The ideal candidate would have a minimum education of a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent schooling with 1 year directly related work experience in computer hardware, software, and/or networking.? Preferred candidates would have 3-6 plus year's directly related work experience in above.? Position will be responsible to provide user support and maintenance of the Gates Teamcenter implementation.? Duties include, but are not limited to, working with users to gather and document requirements, develop new processes and workflows to support the business, maintenance of existing workflows and processes through process improvement initiatives, and assisting with and promoting technical communications with all product development teams (domestic and international).? Traveling to other Gates facilities may be required for 'on-site' training and hands-on support.

The appropriate candidate for this role must have above working knowledge of computers, and familiarity with PLM (Teamcenter) software.? Knowledge of automotive engineering environments, particularly document and data management is preferred.? The candidate should be able to be self-directed and able to organize time to meet deadlines working both independently and in a collaborative team environment and possess good analytical communication skills, both oral and written as well as problem resolution skills.
