PRIN ANALYST

Job Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for the day to day support and administration of
80 to 100 Windows servers in various BMS facilities in North America, ensuring
that adequate monitoring, system availability, data integrity, system resources
capacity planning and security is provided for the applications running on the
environment. An individual in this position will also be responsible for
sizing, installing, configuring, patching, and fully documenting new Windows
servers and will be expected to participate on project teams, where necessary,
to implement new solutions and technologies that affect the Windows
environment. A preferred candidate will be a disciplined and rigorous system
administrator who follows standard operating procedures and will possess a high
level of personal organization skills and attention to detail.

Job Requirements/Education:

Candidates must possess 4 or more years experience with Windows 2000, Windows
2003 server architecture including concepts such as domain models, Active
Directory, NTFS, Internet Information Server, Distributed File Services, WINS,
trust relationships, groups, policies, rights, and permissions. Candidates must
also have a working knowledge of common Windows system administrator tools
Ghost, SysPrep, Terminal Services, netstat, regedit, Windows 2000 Performance
Console, Windows Resource Kit, etc., the ability to optimize and troubleshoot
Windows NT, Windows 2000, and Windows 2003 servers, the ability to install and
maintain all types of Intel based servers using fault tolerant technology RAID,
clustering, etc., excellent communication skills and a team oriented work
style. Candidates should have experience interfacing with multiple vendors for
service and repair coordination along with the knowledge of various server
hardware such as HP, Dell,IBM, etc. Candidates must be willing to work in a
24x7 environment, carry a pager, adhere to service level agreements, and be
part of an on call rotation. Network administration experience and skills such
as routing, switching, subnetting, supernetting are a strong plus. A degree in
Computer ScienceInformation Technology or equivalent is preferred. Microsoft
Certified System Engineer MCSE certification is preferred.

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
