PRODUCT MARKETING - SR MANAGER - PRODUCT MARKETING

This position requires a seasoned enterprise software/services marketing executive. This strategic marketer will combine strong analytical skills with a keen understanding of the enterprise software market, and emerging trends, to grow existing products and launch new products.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop and execute marketing programs for VeriSign's Information Services targeting enterprises

Design marketing mix and allocate budget for enterprise marketing programs in collaboration with Line of Business Product Marketing Managers

Drive, direct marketing, advertising, PR, marketing communications, Web, and events/trade shows as part of a comprehensive marketing strategy

Refine positioning and messaging hierarchy across LOB's and respective product lines

Revise marketing mix and budgets based on analysis and assessment of marketing programs

Collaborate with product managers, marketing program managers, agency, PR, Corporate Marketing teams to ensure clear and consistent messaging across programs

Primary Interface between the VeriSign Information Services Division and the Corporate Marketing providing direction and execution support

Collaborate with peers and colleagues in other divisions to identity and execute synergy opportunities

Interface with and provide tools for sales teams targeting enterprises, channel partners, and government agencies

At least 10 years in the IT industry with at least 3 years in enterprise software/services marketing

At least 2 years of Senior Manager level experience at a technology company targeting medium- and large- enterprise

Senior Manager or above experience at a 1,000 plus person company; Director level or above in medium-sized enterprise software/system company

Expertise/experience in advertising, marketing communications, PR, trade shows/events, and Web marketing

Budget and decision making responsibility across a diverse product line

Experience selling through a direct sales organization and channel partners

Deep understanding of enterprise IT market

Excellent analytical and communication skills

Ideal Candidate would have prior experience in both a Product Marketing and Corporate level Marketing Role
