PROJECT MANAGER (DB2)

Need strong LOCAL PM for client site in Novato,Calif (45 minutes north of San Francisco). NoT&L available. Prefer experience/background in Property & Casualty insurance. 

 

Work in close collaboration with business partners to gain a full understanding of project and client needs

Solid PM skills, strong direction setting and expediting skills, and the ability to take immediate corrective action when a task is off course. 

- Experienced project manager with demonstrated leadership excellence. 

- In-depth Project Planning Methodology and WBS skills. 

- Manage project plan and the day-to-day activities of project(s) to deliver tasks on time, within budget, and within scope. Responsible for the success of the project(s).

- Ability to communicate effectively with client management.

- Identifies and capitalizes on interdependencies within the project to ensure end-to-end synergy during all phases of the project life cycle

 - Develops and manages all key project and project governance documents.

 - Manages to the project budget, and reports project cost information in an accurate and timely manner

-  Proactively identifies additional cost-savings to reduce overall project expenditures

- Proactively evaluates project activities, builds contingency plans, executes corrective action, and monitors issue resolution to mitigate risks such as scope and/or budget variances
