PROPULSION ANALYST

Propulsion Analyst What are the basic qualifications for this position?: The applicant shall be responsible for the analytical support for the development of Propulsion sub-systems including but not limited to Engine installations - air induction exhaust systems and compartment cooling Fuel systems - engine feed refuel and transfer, including line sizing and defiing pump requirements Environmental control systems  heating ventilation personnel and equipment cooling Secondary power systems  developing power and usage requirements  Subsystem control software requirements including understanding and trouble shooting susbsytem control logic and diagnostics Interface with engine manufacturers or equipment suppliers Support other engineering areas and customers

Experience, Special Skills, and Description Required: Proficient in numerical calculations & analytical sizing of Propulsion Fuel and Environmental Control subsystems including:engine installations and compartment cooling air inlet and exhaust systems engine fuel feed refueling and transfer systems heating, ventilation and anti-ice systems preferred 7500+ hrs of  analytical experience Requirements development including requirements flow down preparation of specifications and qualification criteria working knowledge of DOORS Experience with various analytical CFD software packages including Flowmaster Fluent LEWICE  Effective communication and teaming skills Proficient with Microsoft Office applications Excel, Word, Powerpoint

Minimum Experience:: 5-10 Years
Education:: Masters
