Description of the Project:

The client will be doing a major upgrade from PeopleSoft 8.0 to PeopleSoft 8.9 and a re-platform from mainframe DB2 to Unix, Oracle. This work includes upgrades of PeopleSoft code in addition to transformation of developed code delivered in COBOL, SAS, Easytrieve, JCL, QMF, and other mainframe-centric languages to Unix equivalents.

Description of the work to be performed:

Work closely with the functional clients to understand their business requirements and determine appropriate technical solutions in order to complete functional and technical design packets. Translate functional requirements into technical requirements/designs. Capability to transition from designers in the design phase to programmers in the build and test phase
