PeopleSoft Financials Developer/Analyst

A major software product firm in Fairfax VA is a seeking a Technical PeopleSoft Analyst/Developer for the Financial Applications team. For this role, we are open to candidates with 1-5 years PeolpeSoft experience, primarily in a technical, development role with PeopleSoft financials.

 

Essential Job Functions:
?  Administer HR Office, Equity Edge, Stock Admin and other HR and Financial applications both functionally and technically working with end-users.
?  Support PeopleSoft Financials operations and maintenance (O&M) activities
?  Participate in defining business requirements for high ROI strategic PeopleSoft initiatives and following the company's internal quality control and Sarbanes Oxley procedures.
?  Participate in design, development and deployment activities for PeopleSoft initiatives addressing both O&M requirements and strategic projects including duration and level of effort estimates.

 

Selection Criteria:
?  1-4 years experience as an analyst of HR and Financial applications is required.
?  1-4 years direct experience as an analyst with PeopleSoft Financials (8.0 or higher) is required. GL, AR, AP, PO, AM, Billing, modules experience highly desired.
?  1-5 years of overall experience in ERP or Software Development areas is required.
?  Knowledge of fundamental accounting is preferred.
?  Professional experience in implementing PeopleSoft projects in a team environment, preferably building business applications using excellent analysis and quality assurance techniques preferred.
?  Experience with PeopleSoft Contracts, Projects and Expenses is highly desired.
?  BS in Information Technology, CS or related field is necessary. MS is desired.
?  Experience with PeopleTools, SQR, nVision and Crystal Reports is desired.
?  Basic Database knowledge (preferably Oracle 8i or higher) is desired.
?  PeopleSoft Security Administration experience is desired.
?  Experience with formal software development practices and lifecycle methodology desirable.
?  Excellent time-management skills and the ability to manage complexities and competing priorities.
?  Ability to combine judgment, extensive experience, analytic skills, and business knowledge to make sound decisions.
?  Interpersonal skills and experience coordinating information and activities among groups with differing agendas, across multi-functional areas.
?  Sound writing skills using various styles to address a wide range of needs and audiences.
