PeopleSoft Financials Functional Business Analyst

Vaco Technology is looking for a Functional Business Analyst for a permanent position with one of our clients in Fairfield, New Jersey.

The Functional Business Analyst is responsible for handling multiple assignments supporting the utilization and functions of the ERP and reporting systems, acting as a liaison between the end-users and the IT communities, as well as identifying areas where systems can improve processes. Primary responsibilities for the Functional Business Analyst include the following:
. Resolve PeopleSoft Financials (AP, PO, GL, AM, PC) end user issues.
. Longview Khalix System Administration.
. Develop and maintain financial statements using Khalix and PeopleSoft reporting tools.
. Interface with key Finance Community Customers
. Assist the monthly Accounting Close processing
. Provide advice and assistance to user community and provide mentoring as required
. Assist with Project Management of Financial System Developments
. Research ERP vendor patches/fixes, then work with IT to install and test those deemed appropriate.
. Plan and conduct system and user acceptance testing of system enhancements
. Creation and maintenance of system documentation and business processes
. Prepare system documentation including training materials as needed.
. Identify manual processes that can be automated, then work with user community to implement enhancements.
. Perform training sessions either in person or remotely.

The qualified candidate will have the a minimum of two years of ERP experience, preferably PeopleSoft Financials experience. Two years of business analyst experience is also required as is a working knowledge of financial processes, practices and procedures. A Bachelor's degree in Business, preferably accounting or Computer Science is also required.
