PeopleSoft - Procurement Resource

We are looking for a consultant with extensive knowledge Peoplesoft's Multi-Language, Multi-Currency and VAT processes. The resource will be responsible for making a recommendation on the appropriate processes given Client requirements, then developing the appropriate project plan to implement the approved solution.

 

The ideal candidate also has knowledge of the Procurement function (Purchase Order, eProcurement, Inventory, Workflow, Accounts Payable and Project Costing). 

 

Possible extension to support International Deployments.

 

Deliverables:

1. Recommend Global Business processes utilizing multiple languages and currencies within a Business Unit.  Facilitate the decision making process.

- Define detailed process flows for language usage across the RTP stream

- Review processes of other Peoplesoft implementations, define issues with the implementation and recommendations for resolving in the Global system.

- Define processes for utilizing various date formats

- Validate Vendor Multi-Language configuration (multiple Setid?s, hierarchy relationships, etc.)

- User/Security configuration based on Roles

- Transaction processes for Requistions, Workflow approvals, Purchase Orders, Vouchers

- Document decisions

- Configure System

- Test including alternate characters

- Create Job Aides and Training Documentation

2.  Validate Global Configuration to effectively utilize language sensitive fields

- Provide configuration and/or business processes to support non-language sensitive configurations

- Coordination of Data Conversion via 3rd party

3.  Validate Global VAT configuration and provide recommended approach to configuring and managing Procurement and Inventory BU options

4.  Define Deployment Requirements

-  Vendor Name and Address translations, Item Description translation, FAX/Email translation, Standard & Static Comments

- BU specific VAT configuration and test processes

5.  Redesign the Printed PO and specific Custom Reports

-  Design new multi-language Printed PO. This will encompass changing the existing form and fixing known issues.

- Include VAT information on form

- Get consensus on new form

- Prepare functional specification for form

6.  Coordinate with technical consultant and assist in Unit Testing modifications

- Support users in Integrated Test

- Training Documentation
