Job Description:

The members of the PeopleSoft support team cover PeopleSoft HR and all of the following Financial Modules:  Assets, Project Costing, AP, GL, Time & Expense and Supply Chain (Purchasing, ePro, sPro).  Four candidates have already been hired to cover PS HR and PS Financials; we now need two additional candidates to help cover SCM issues.

 

Responsibilities:

This team will be responsible for first-line support to end users.  Responsibilities include:  take user calls, create tickets, provide initial resolution or analysis of the problem and then follow the ticket through to completion.  It is expected that they will have both a Functional and Technical understanding of the application to provide initial troubleshooting to determine if the issue is navigation, workflow, user training or an actual programmatic issue.  If the issue is a true system error or problem, the support consultant will need to provide an initial problem analysis prior to turning the issue over to the development team.

 

We are targeting junior-to-mid-level developers and/or analysts with solid customer service and PeopleSoft experience that want to work in this position.  The team will work normal business hours and rotate on-call every five weeks.  There are normally no off hours calls except during month-end close that occurs the second-to-last business day of the month through the 10th business day of the following month.  Candidates will be converted to full-time employment at the client site eight-to-twelve weeks after the hire date.

 

Interview Schedule:

Interviews for this position will take place first by phone, then in-person with the client.  Ideal start dates are the Tuesday after Labor Day, or the following Monday, September 11th.
