Peoplesoft Business Systems Analyst

Our client is seeking a Peoplesoft Business Systems Analyst/Reporting Specialist.  This is a 2+ month contract located in San Jose, CA.  Candidates must be US Citizens or GreenCard Holders since our client is not able to provide sponsorship at this time.  No 3rd party relationships allowed with this position.

 

-- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

DUTIES >> The primary duties of this position are creating, running and auditing the majority of reporting activity (scheduled and ad-hoc) that takes place within our client's HR organization. These reports are distributed to a large audience at the company and are critical to day to day operations (both inside and outside of HR).

 



The position required a broad and deep understanding of the PeopleSoft HR system/architecture as well as a solid understanding of HR related reporting requirements.



 

 

SKILLS >> In depth knowledge of PeopleSoft v8.x functionality and database structure (Oracle db)

? Experience using the PeopleSoft payroll interface functionality

? Expertise in using PeopleSoft "query" toolset for the generation of complex reports

? Ability to quickly come up to speed on existing suite of reporting requirements

? Expert in use of other reporting/data extraction tools:

o MS Excel (advanced skills) - MUST HAVE

o Crystal reports

o TOAD

o Basic SQL

? Ability to interact with all levels of management and HR to translate report requirements

? Expertise in maintaining interfaces between PeopleSoft HR and third party vendors (i.e. benefits providers)

? Experience in maintaining PeopleSoft HR base tables (department, job code)

 

 

EDUCATION >> College Degree preferred
