Performance Tester

JOB DESCRIPTION Executes and writes Mercury Load Runner 8.0 Scripts as well as analyzes results working with various operations and development teams to come to resolution on performance and load degradation issues. Ability to utilize SQL Query Assists to provide support to end users on a variety of issues. Identifies, researches and resolves technical problems. Documents, tracks and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution. Familiar with a variety of the fields concepts, practices and procedures Performs a variety of task around multiple projects. Assists in testing of all applications and researching issues. Candidate will be responsible to perform initial analysis of test results/data and to communicate and present test results to development and architecture teams. Responsible for working with a team to develop performance test plans, test cases and scripts for the purpose of identifying current and potential bottle necks in systems by understanding current processing and technology platforms. They will participate heavily in the execution of performance / stress test cases and be responsible for performing initial analysis and reporting test results. Possess understanding of current and future technology requirements. Knowledgeable of product area and technology. Analyze results and prepare test result reports Create automated test scripts. Assist in extensive infrastructure/application performance tests, when required, during off-hours.

DESIRED SKILLS:
Mercury Load Runner 8.0,Quick Test Pro 8.2 skills, JDE Test experience, 3-5 years scripting and programming skills (with emphasis on C and VBScript), SQL Queries needed to research and manipulate Test Data,Understanding of software architecture technologies (e.g. HTML, Java/JavaScript, .Net, XML, C++, VB, ActiveX, etc.), and user interfaces
