Plan & Produce Team Member

Major Duties:   This position is responsible for the day to day production support, configuration and testing of planning, scheduling, production operations and manufacturing related applications. Individual will work with end users and team members on support, implementation, and optimization issues. The position may lead efforts associated with delivering additional Plan & Produce solutions. The position may require some level of travel. (Up to 25%)

 

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: 

-Configuration of the SAP?s  MM/PP/PP-PI module 

o Production Planning

o Production Scheduling

o Production Operations

o Quality Management

o Material Master

o Batch Management 


-Configuration of SAP APO modules 

o Production Planning/Detailed Scheduling

o Supply Network Planning


 -Configuration and technical support of one or more MES applications such as Honeywell OptiVision, Quality OptiMiser, and GE-Proficy, and OSI-PI.


-Coordinating functional super users and technical administrators for SAP/MES applications.


-Serve as liaison between user problem submission and technical infrastructure groups for MES applications.


-Management of functional/technical relationship with vendors of manufacturing applications.


-Functional oversight and project management required to design, install, and optimize Manufacturing Solutions.


-Integration of manufacturing applications with SAP.


-Integration of in-process measurement systems and shop floor data collection systems with MES applications.


-Identifying and resolving the root cause of day to day production issues


-Collaboration with the business units to research, define and deploy new business and manufacturing process improvements.


-Developing functional specifications to support the deployment of custom functionality.


-Testing of changes through the application landscape from development to production.


-Lead or participate in the implementation of new or existing Plan & Produce functionality to the business by gathering, defining and translating business requirements into a functional design as well as coordinating and executing the development, testing and implementation of the solution. 


Education: 

- Bachelors? degree in IT engineering or business/related field

- Documented SAP and/or MES implementation experience

-Excellent written and oral communication skills to support the collaboration with the business units in delivering

innovative and cost effective solutions 


Experience:

(Grade 15 )

- 1-2 years of experience in business analysis, configuration or support of SAP in the above areas of responsibility

- 1-2 years of relevant business experience in the above areas of responsibility

- Experience with managing small IT SAP projects

(Grade 16)

- 3-4 years of experience in business analysis, configuration or support of SAP in several of the above areas of responsibility

- 3-4 years of relevant business experience in the above areas of responsibility

- Experience with managing IT SAP projects of medium complexity

 Grade 17)

- 5-7 years of experience in business analysis, configuration or support of SAP in many of the above areas of responsibility

- 5-7 years of relevant business experience in the above areas of responsibility

- Experience with managing highly complex IT SAP projects
