Portfolio Management Consultant

Key Role: Provide analytical support for portfolio management activities, including the IT area for federal civil agency clients. Work in a team environment to share in the prioritization of tasks and analyze business case data for quality and completeness. Produce documentation for a variety of data sets and use the software tool that stores the business case data.



Functional/Industry Knowledge:

-6-10 years of experience with implementing portfolio management practices in a federal government environment

-Knowledge of associated legislative and directive drivers required

-Ability to handle multiple assignments and changing priorities required

-Experience with earned value management and major portfolio management software tools, including ProSight and Metis preferred

-Knowledge of IT investment management and capital planning

-Knowledge of the Clinger-Cohen Act and business cases

-Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner, work well in a dynamic team environment, and gain client trust quickly

Education/Certifications or equivalent required:

BA or BS degree in Economics, Business, Management, Finance, Public Policy, Computer Information Systems, or a related field required
