Job Description:
This position will cover both Cleveland and Pittsburgh and will provide technical services for customers in a highly complex data storage environment. As a key member of the sales team, the qualified candidate will provide customers with storage architectures and support for data storage and protection solutions including pre-site inspections, initial solutions designs, customization, and integration with the delivery team with the intent of optimizing customer's operational benefit.
Experience & Qualifications:2 - 5 years total hands-on experience in one or more of the following disciplines: Backup and recovery software
Tape Technology - LTO DLT, 9940 etc.
RAID storage products - HDS, EMC, NetApp
SAN fibre architecture Must have minimum knowledge/skills in one or more of the following areas:
UNIX/Solaris HP-UX
AIX
Windows NT and/or Novell Familiarity with networking technologies Experience working with products on a variety of Open Systems Excellent analytical abilities, resulting in problem resolution
BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience/training towards technical certifications
Experience in the following areas are a plus:High performance storage systems and SAN technologies; IP SAN; iSCSI Database backup and restore, such as Oracle, SQL, Exchange etc. Network Attached Storage (NAS) Fibre channel fabric, such as Brocade and McDATA switches Clustered systems Certifications in technical software applications
