Pre-Sales Support and Training Engineer

This is an outside pre-sales support position focusing on the sales of FW/VPN units and SSL seats into multiple verticals to include telecom, distribution and alternate channel verticals.  Pre-sales Engineer is responsible for facilitating new partner acquisitions, named account maintenance and daily pre-sales support in the sale of OfficeScreen FW/VPN units and SSL seats.

 

Candidate must possess exceptional motivational skills for training purposes, as well as, moderate to high level technical knowledge to provide pre-sales support to partner sales forces.  Position will be the point person with potential customers, specifically for the decision makers and technical staff members. While a technical background is not required, experience in technical solution sales is a must. 

 

This position includes domestic and international travel for the purposes of training and developing sales within partner organizations. Daily telephonic sales support to developed sales channels is expected, with inside support provided by existing team for quotes, diagrams and support material.

 

Candidate must be able to work with limited supervision, creatively solve problems and be able to make critical decisions subject to management?s review.

 

Qualifications:

 

College degree and/or four years of background in outbound telecom, healthcare or retail vertical sales are required. A proven track record of relationship sales and major account engagement is also required.  Pre-sales Engineer will use their industry sales experience to promote OfficeScreen products within prospects and newly acquired partners and have an active role in the onsite and online training of partner's sales forces on a quarterly basis.

 

Target Compensation:

 

60% salary - $50 ? 60k

40% commission - $40-50k
