Sales Pricing Analyst

 Job Summary

 

Juniper Networks is looking for an analyst to join the sales operations group.  This position will directly support the Americas sales deals desk at Juniper, interfacing with account managers in the US, Canada and Latin America, helping them analyze sales pricing requests.

Because this position supports West Coast locations, hours for this position are 10am -7pm Eastern Standard Time. 

 Responsibilities

 

The primary responsibility for this position is the analysis and approval of special discounting requests for the Americas sales group.  This position is the first point of contact for the sales team for:

 

?  Deal analysis  

?  Structure   

?  Margins

?  Identification of revenue recognition issues

?  Channel Pricing Authorizations

In addition to the primary responsibilities of this position, there is also a need for analysis and reporting in the areas of:

?  Discount Analysis  

?  Product Trends  

?  Reps / Region / Area Trends

?  Promotional Programs 

 

Juniper is experiencing significant growth in the number of sales deals and the candidate must be able to handle this increase volume, with an ability to look at processes and systems to identify areas for improvement. 

 Qualifications

 5+ years of finance experience, preferably with at least 1 to 2 years supporting a sales team.Strong computers skills with a solid basic understanding of Microsoft Excel.Strong organizational skills.Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate well on the phone and through email.  BS degree
