The Mainframe Storage Management group of Fidelity Investments Systems Company (FISC) Operations is looking for a Principal Operating Systems Programmer to join our team to help design and manage Fidelity’s Mainframe disk storage environment.

Major Responsibilities:
? Monitor and maintain Fidelity’s storage environment to meet Fidelity’s business
  needs
? Work with hardware and other groups to engineer new storage solutions
? Provide ongoing DASD support to Fidelity’s business units
? Participate in on-call rotation
? Provide support for new DASD hardware certification
? Evaluate and certify new Storage management software
? Assist operational groups in researching problems and respond to questions
  relating to storage hardware or software
 



 
? Strong DASD management skills and experience in a large mainframe environment
? CA Vantage experience desirable
? Strong DFHSM and SMS skills
? IBM backup/disk copy/volume initialization utility experience
? ICF catalog backup and recovery experience
? Hitachi, IBM or EMC disk mirroring experience 
? Problem analysis and resolution skills 
? Ability to work as part of a team
