The Principal Support Engineer will provide advanced consulting, pre-sales, and post-sales support.  The ideal candidate will be brought on at end of the call to answer high level technical questions, be responsible for  90% of troubleshooting customer problems, documentation review, internal evaluation of new product versions before general release, and provide engineering expertise during documentation development phases.

Requirements6+ years experience as a Systems Engineer 5+ years experience as a Microsoft systems administrator Senior System Administration skills require the ability to install, configure and maintain a broad level of systems for stabile test environments that can replicate customer environments across a very wide range Strong working knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange, SQL, Oracle, Unix, Windows Server Strong ability to analyze and troubleshoot issues across multiple integrated applications LAN technology, security compliance regulations, back up, storage, storage networking and security protocols Unix (AIX, Solaris) experience is a strong plus Experience with database administration. Knowledge of MS SQL Server and Oracle database is a strong plus Ability to troubleshoot network hardware problems, utilize network analyzers and test equipment, and understand the relationship between the network and production applications is a strong plus Knowledge of scripting languages (Perl, VB, DOS, Unix shell) is a plus Excellent presentation, organizational, documentation, and written/verbal communication skills, and the ability to communicate to all levels of the organization Must have excellent organizational, documentation, and written/verbal communication skills. BS/BA degree strongly preferred.
