This position is within Fidelity Brokerage Company Technology.  The systems analyst must have strong organizational skills, as part of the responsibilities of the systems analyst will include scheduling and budget related work.  In addition, he/she will be responsible for the following:

 

Job Responsibilities:

?  Consults with business to develop recommendations that address difficult and complex business needs and opportunities, and analyzes system solutions to fulfill those business requirements.

?  Documents objectives, use cases, requirements and specifications, as well as producing diagrams of  business processes and system workflows.  In addition, creates documents specifications describing solutions to achieve requirements.

?  Evaluates design of existing systems, identifies obstacles or flaws and researches to identify effective solutions

?  Facilitate and participate in full project life cycle – analysis, design,

development, testing, quality assurance, installation, and production support.

?  Address and escalate issues promptly and properly.

?  Escalate anticipated risk to management.

?  Ensure resolutions of issues.

?  Develop strategic partnerships with systems and business management.

?  Develop an understanding of the business unit’s goals.

?  10+ years of brokerage experience


?  Solid business background


?  Mainframe systems background is required


?  Working knowledge of COBOL, CICS, DB2, mainframe applications  


?  Excellent technical skills and knowledge of distributed platform is a plus


  (Microsoft, .NET, IISVB.NET and ASP)


?  Strong oral, written and presentation skills


?  Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects


?  Candidate must work well in a team environment and possess good documentation skills


?  Motivated, self-directed, results oriented


?  Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
